I played your game and it was pretty fun! I like how you took an interesting twist with horror and implemented some comedic features to it. The game had some funny bits here and there but it can still be scary at times! For a first game I think you did a pretty good job compared to some other horror indie games I've seen in the past. Played this for a 3 free indie horrors and i gotta say, I have quite a few mixed feelings about this game. Not quite sure how I feel about it. But I give and honest and in-depth review in my video below. Timestamp in the beginning if you wanna just skip to the review portion.
Solid input! The drawers are a relic of a past mechanic we thought about putting in. We are thinking of adding some things in the drawers in a patch. We simply didn't know what items to put in the drawers. We have no batteries or power-ups so it would be just junk which takes time (we were tight on). Plus we wanted to keep the keys and notes visible and kind of in the players face. So yeah, I agree the drawer thing is a wash. Once again, we might add some stuff to the drawers before we launch on Gamejolt, that or just simply disable it.
As for the flashlight, we experimented with different brightness and came to the conclusion that we wanted less bright light. Some people say it's to bright, some say it's to dark. Sometimes you can't please everyone.
When you died in the crypts and couldn't move, that's because it spawns you at the keys last position, we are working on a fix for that. We didn't have that issue on our end when trying to replicate it but some people do. Some people play the whole game with that not being a issue.
Most of the things you mention we already know. We released it anyways. That's the nature of the gaming industry. This was our first game so there is lots to learn from this experience. Even from the PR side of things. I could choose to bullshit you some junk or tell the truth. I choose the truth. It might come back to bite me in the ass down the road though haha.

Yeah, I realized later that i did as well lol. A subscriber pointed that out in the comments. Everything up to that point was keys, so i just assumed the thing i grabbed in the graveyard was also a key haha, my bad. Made for a funny moment near the end of the game though lol. Thanks for being so honest and straightforward about the game. I understand a lot as i myself am part of a dev team, and i can totally sympathize on most things. You're never gonna get it perfect your first go, and if i come across as harsh, just understand i play A LOT of indie horrors on the channel and everyone gets the same treatment, as fair. Although despite any feedback you may had taken as harsh, i mean only the best with my words, and i only want to see you guys improve and make better games down the line. The note thing was user error... If you watch til the end, there was a glitch in the catacombs... We even posted a final count for how many times the user error occured xD
I appreciate that you still had a good time even though it was bugging out on you! When I see that it was popping up I was cringing hardcore on my end haha. Picard facepalming hardcore. I was like "but how is that even possible" because in order to pull open a note you have to be beside it. It's a strange bug that I hope I fixed in the new build.

What you said about the length being the right length, I am glad you noticed that! Most people have about 30-40 min of courage to play a scary game and give up or pass it off to someone else to play for them. Knowing that, we made it nice and short so people can play through in one go! Very attentive!

Graphic and overall everything is great of this game 5/5.
There are 3 types of gamers in horror games:
1) Scream at every little thing
2) Play it cool but get silently spooked but don't show it
3) Hide in every in-game closet they can find when something spooky happens.
